GLE / GLA Series – textured anti-glare hard-coated films.
GLE/GLA series is a textured-finish hard-coated film without filler, designed to reduce glare from external light and keep displays easy to view. GLE uses PET as the base film, while GLA uses TAC, supporting a wide range of optical and touch applications.
Textured hard-coated films without filler that reduce glare and improve outdoor and high-illumination visibility. GLE uses PET base film; GLA uses TAC base film. Anti-glare hard coat on one side, with the option to add low-reflection coating using GLE1200/GLA1200.
Where GLE / GLA films are typically used.
Displays in bright environments
Used as cover films for displays that must stay readable under strong ambient light – such as industrial panels, kiosks, ticketing machines and POS systems.
Touch panels & control surfaces
Textured anti-glare surface improves visibility while still allowing smooth touch operation, reducing distracting reflections from overhead lighting.
Optical windows & equipment panels
Suitable as an optical window or front panel layer in measurement devices, medical equipment and instrumentation where reflections must be controlled.

Textured anti-glare hard-coated film on one side, with the possibility to combine with low-reflection coating. GLE1200 uses PET; GLA1200 uses TAC base film.
- Single-side anti-glare hard-coat.
- Enhanced visibility in strong ambient light.
- Can be paired with low-reflection coating for improved performance.
A higher-performance textured anti-glare grade designed for applications that demand stronger glare control while keeping image clarity and surface durability.
- Upgraded AG characteristics vs. 1200 series.
- Good balance between haze, clarity and glare suppression.
- Available as PET-based (GLE1400) and TAC-based (GLA1400).
